| Joséphine Ange Gardien (2 x 90 min) Joséphine Ange Gardien is one of the most popular and most successful, light-entertainment series for TF1. It was first aired in 1997 and continues to reach record audience figures. Joséphine is a guardian angel sent to earth to help people resolve their problems. Using her psychological insight, her persuasiveness and magical powers, she finds solutions to the problems of her clients. "Apart from the lead character, there are no other recurring elements. The series consists of unrelated stories, therefore, the viewer discovers a new universe in each episode and this is the reason I was attracted to this series. I was able to explore a new setting, new story and new characters each time. I directed two episodes, telling two very different stories. One where a rivalrous love triangle has a threatening impact on the lives of two agriculturists. The other, taking place on the rugged but beautiful coast of Brittany, where folk-tales and myths are taken very seriously!" |
