Famille d’Accueil  (6 x 52 min)

Famille d’Accueil is an extremely popular, light entertainment series, which was first aired in 2001 on France Télévision. The series follows the lives of a family and their interactions with children who are temporarily placed in their foster care.

"The series was in its thirteenth year when I directed my first episode. The producer and the channel felt the show was in need of an artistic make-over. This presented a huge challenge. I needed to convince the actors, the writers and the crew of the new direction the show was about to take. Working very closely with the producer and the rest of the team was essential and together we gave the show a new lease of life. The producer and the channel were very happy and I’m very proud of the results."
